TASTING NOTE

A classic, flinty-smoky style of Pouilly Fume. Elderflower and citrus notes on the nose with balanced acidity, fresh grass and a lengthy mineral core to the palate. A very, very good style of Sauvignon Blanc.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Roger Pabiot is a 4^th generation winemaker from a domaine in Tracy sur Loire consisting of 21 ha of Sauvignon Blanc vines. The average age of the vines is 25 years, although some are 80 years old. What makes his Pouilly Fume wines so special, is that the domaine is situated on four types of soil; Kimmeridgian marl, flinty clay, sandy terraces and hard limestone. This gives the opportunity to blend the final product in accordance to which plots showed the best during the growing season.
