STORE MANAGER - KATIE BUTLER

Katie has been in the wine trade for 22 years, starting as a wee starlet at Oddbins in 1999! It's all been downhill from there really! Ten years ago Katie founded Black Dog Wine Agency which specialises in wines of New Zealand, such as Riverby Estate, and South Africa, including Waverley Hills, all of which can be found on our shelves.

Katie woke up one day and asked Dave (her husband) what was the worst thing that could happen if they imported a pallet of wine. And so they did and the rest is history!

On her days off you can find Katie walking Jet, the black dog who has more taste than I do in cardboard, lurking in Cheshire hostelries or watching cricket, a noble pastime of which I am still learning the rules many many years later!

STORE EVENTS

We usually have a busy calendar of tasting events here in Frodsham, from Saturday cooking demonstrations to ticketed evening wine tastings, but we have paused everything during the pandemic. Check back once things start to get back to normal!
