Hadji Bey has been part of Ireland's food tradition since 1902 when a young Armenian named Harutun Batmazian set up stall at the Great Cork International Exhibition making Turkish Delight. He then established a shop and factory adjacent to Cork's famous Metropole Hotel and soon his shop became an equally famous Cork landmark. Harutun gradually added to his range of confectionery and one of his most popular new confections was his assortment of Fruit Jellies with their beautiful colours and fruity flavours. Harutun and his successors have always strongly believed in the integrity of the Hadji Bey brand through a focus on the superior quality of all our products and this commitment remains to this day.
