Celebrating their 125th anniversary in 2015, the Manzanos family wanted to demonstrate the true worth of their vineyards. They have two very special vineyard sites in Azagra with old Tempranillo vines with which they have been striving to realise the potential of their fruit. Taking the utmost care with the vineyards, cultivated as naturally as possible, harvesting the fruit by hand, they are making wines the way their grandparents used to. They have stuck with the old methods, long slow fermentation, albeit in stainless steel.

This is a classic Rioja - vibrant fruit, a brightness of flavour and structure.
