Team GB to Team GBBO!
The nation has moved its excitement from the Rio Olympics to the Great British Bake Off. A bit like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. I love it - I even eat cake watching it!
So whether you're a fan or not, you can't help but notice the increase in amateur bakers trying their hand at jaw-dropping showstoppers. If you work in an office, I bet plenty of your colleagues have already started bringing in more sweet treats than usual.
As the saying goes, if you can't beat them join them. So, this is my plan.
No Soggy Bottoms Here
Ever considered cheating? If the answer is yes, you just have to visit us at Whitmore & White, we have a delicious range of 'home-made' cakes. You don't have to tell anyone exactly who made them, right?
We are proud to sell a range of The Simply Delicious Cake Company's scrummy loaf cakes.
You have a choice of these - Apricot & Ginger, Teatime Fruit, Dark Rich Fruit and a Gluten Free Fruit Cake. I have no idea how they cram in so much fruit, but you can be sure to put the world to rights with a slice and a cup of tea.
Week For Biscuits?
We've had biscuit week in the tent. There were tears, mild panics and buttery base catastrophes. You can save yourself the heartache and try our fantastic range of Cartwright & Butler biscuits.
My favourite is the White Chocolate and Strawberry, with choice a plenty you're bound to find your favourite. Here's what we've got; Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Lemon, Oat Crumbles, Salted Caramel, Triple Choc, Cranberry Crumbles, Peanut, Stem Ginger and Butterscotch.
Judge For Yourself
I doubt Paul, Mary, Sue or Mel could fault our cakes or biscuits. How would you describe our tea-time treats?
